Can you believe it has already been 10 years?!The Lake Havasu High School Class of 2004 will soon be celebrating our 10 year reunion! A: The events will take place in our hometown, Lake Havasu City. On Sept 26th we will attend the Homecoming Football Game at the High School followed by a bar crawl. On, Saturday, September 27th, a semi-formal dinner & dancing banquet will be held at the Shugrue's Bridgeview Room located at 1425 McCulloch Blvd. North. Q: When will the reunion be held? A: The reunion will be held September 26th-28th. A weekend full of fun including the Homecoming football game, bar crawl, main banquet dinner event, and numerous optional events (some family friendly as well). Q: I graduated in 2004, what do I need to do to ensure I get invited and stay informed? A: By now you've probably sent your information and have followed our announcements. Now, we can proudly announce that tickets are available for purchase!!! RSVP and pay online or mark the send check option at the following Q: When can I expect an invitation? A: We plan to mail formal invites by July 1st. There will be a hard RSVP deadline so we can confirm headcount to the venue. If we do not raise enough money by mid-June formal invites may not be mailed and an alternate method will be used. *****UPDATE 6/14/14- AS OF RIGHT NOW WE HAVE NO FUNDS BUT HAVE FOUND AN EXCELLENT SITE (LISTED JUST ABOVE IN THE PREVIOUS QUESTION) THAT ALLOWS US TO TRACK RSVP'S IN ONE SPOT FOR TICKET SALES PURCHASED ON AND OFFLINE..YOU JUST HAVE TO GO REGISTER YOUR RSVP AND MARK YOUR PAYMENT METHOD AND THEN SEND A CHECK IF YOU PREFER. LOTS OF NEW DETAILED INFO AVAILABLE THERE AS WELL. UPDATE: We've still yet to receive pictures, please send us any that you may have. We want to create a beautiful tribute from photos sent in by those whom were closest to them. Q: I have kids, can they attend the reunion? A: They can certainly attend the Homecoming Game on Friday evening, Family "Fun in the Sun" BBQ (BYO everything) at Rotary Park Sat. afternoon & farewell brunch & lunch on Sunday, however the banquet dinner on Saturday is adults only please. Q: What can I expect to budget for the reunion? A: The reunion itself will be a plated dinner event. The per person price is $40 if you book prior to August 26th. After August 26th, the price increases to $50 per person. This includes dinner, tax & gratuity. Alcohol is not included but a cash bar will be available. The football game will be free to alumni and their guests. Any other activities will be at your expense. **Tickets are now available so go purchase yours today!** Q: Are there any hotel room blocks for the out-of-town guests? A: While you are free to stay wherever you'd like, we've arranged for two discounted options that are close to the venue: Nautical Inn Hotel: Cove Suites $169.00/ NT + 9.78% tax. Resort fee has been waived for our group. To Book dial 928-855-2141 and reference 2004 Class Reunion. London Bridge Resort: One Bedroom Suite $149/ NT + tax + $18.50 daily resort fee (this also includes breakfast) Just tell them you are with the LHHS Class of 2004 Reunion. Q: How is the reunion being funded? A: GREAT QUESTION!! The high school did not establish a reunion fund so we will need support from the class and local businesses to assist with funding some elements of the event. Your required contribution to attend the dinner will only cover your dinner, therefore, we will solely be relying on donations to pay for things like invitations, postage, entertainment, deposits, decorations, etc. We also encourage you to please help spread the word about this! |
